The Washington Center for X-Ray and Imaging Technology (WACXIT) was funded by National Science Foundation(NSF) and established at WSU in 2003. This hi-tech laboratory promotes the advanced microstructure characterization, simulation, and design of solids, including metals, ceramics, geological, and biomaterials.
